Classic Landscapes, LLC represents over thirty years of horticulture experience in serving the greater Las Vegas valley in the Commercial, Industrial, and Homeowner Association sectors.

Alex Zahri and Jay Stauss are the founders of Classic Landscapes, LLC. In February of 2004 with one employee, and one truck they created the company, and have built it from the ground up into a multimillion dollar business. They are C-10 contractors with a one million dollar limit which allows them to provide services to some of the most prestigious clients in Las Vegas, which include the Rio Hotel & Casio, and Spanish Trails Master Association.

Alex, who is originally from Morocco, has been a resident of Nevada for 27 years. He is a graduate from the University of INSEA in Rabat, Morocco and is recognized as a Certified Water Auditor by the Irrigation Association.

Alex has more than 25 years of experience in landscape maintenance and construction, 20 of which he spent creating and operating several of his own landscape companies. In addition, he was one of the original members who participated in the creation of the Southern Nevada Water Authority’s Water Smart Contractors Program.

Jay, who is originally from Arizona, has been a resident of Nevada for 13 years. He is a graduate from the University of Arizona, and is recognized as a Certified Arborist by the International Society of Arborists.

Jay has been in the landscape industry for more than 13 years, 5 of which he spent as a Regional Branch Manager for a large commercial landscape company. In addition, Jay speaks regularly on the challenges of maintaining superior landscapes in a desert enviornment, and is the author and presenter of Landscape 101, which is a 3 hour seminar accredited by the Nevada Real Estate Division for Community Association Managers in need of continuing educations credits.
